Comfort food

(Noun): Food that is satisfying because it is prepared in a simple or traditional way and reminds you of home, family, or friends.

Our menu is built around traditional American classics with a bold twist of BBQ and comfort food. Try our variety of sandwiches, salads or, if you’re really in need of comfort food, our mac and cheese dishes are sure to satisfy.

At Red Crown. you can spend an evening with family and friends enjoying our food options and our extensive wine and cocktail offerings. How does a brisket grilled cheese sound or perhaps a slab from our BBQ Pit sound? Or maybe our famous char-grilled salmon is more your style?

Always Evolving

Since reopening for service on our extended outdoor patio, and focusing more and more on takeout and delivery orders, we have fine-tuned our menus several times in response to our guests’ requests.

Worry not! We’ve kept our long-time favorites.

Red Crown has offered vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free menu options since we were founded. We can accommodate vegan diets as well. We continue to expand our offerings and enhance them with new spices and flavor twists to pique your interests.

Locally Sourced Ingredients and Baked Goods

We make special efforts to connect with numerous Michigan farmers and vendors for our meats, vegetables, and fruits. It allows us to point to the specific farm or bakery individual menu items came from, rather than from conventional restaurant supply distributors.

Did you notice our fresh herb gardens outside in the spring and summer? We love using fresh herbs picked from our own gardens to season our dishes.

Most of our breads originate from the Rising Star Academy in Center Line, MI. Rising Star provides a place for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults to belong and develop the necessary skills to participate at their full potential within the community. They produce many items to our Red Crown specifications including specialty pretzels and buns.

Many of our desserts are sourced from Rising Star Academy and Canelle Bakery in Birmingham, MI which uses French recipes with far less sugar than most American counterparts, allowing the natural flavors to come through.
